The Treatment Room as a Mirror of the World is an online salon that explores the treatment room as a microcosm of the world we live in. Where bodies quietly reveal the impact of social structures and collective exhaustion, and reflect the loss of rituals and community.

The Treatment room as a mirror of our world

Join this unique experience of an online salon. Drawing from clinical practice, sociology, and the Five Element framework, we will reflect on what recurring patterns in bodies can teach us about care, imbalance in nature, and the state of our time.

During the salon Karen creates a contained and focused space online for a group of up to 30 participants. She introduces a central theme and shares a story from her clinical practice, using it as a lens to reflect on what is unfolding in the collective field. This is followed by a short embodied exercise and Q&A. The salon closes with a guided meditation to support integration.

So much was activated and touched by this day. I hadn't imagined anything, which gave the day a very surprising feeling, which I appreciated; I surrendered to it. The ceremony brought me peace and focus, as well as even more confidence to follow the river's flow like a log and, like a true adventurer, to be open to new connections and unique paths. Your guidance was not only skillful but also inviting, playful, vulnerable, and wonderfully bold. The combination with Jelle was also very infectious and loving without ever being cheesy. I'm already looking forward to the next one and will definitely recommend participating to my network.

I also really enjoyed the last exercises; the human interaction and movement are new to me, but they really appeal to me.

Through the salons, retreats, and mentorships of The School for Alchemy, one recurring need kept surfacing: people do not only long for guidance, they long for time. Like an artist-in-residency gets all the time to make art; the inn is a residency to be human.

Time to restore.

From this longing, Ama · Alma · Tierra was born.

An Inn for the Soul in the Italian hills, where you can stay for a longer period of time, held by simplicity, stillness, and gentle attention.

Not the pace of a clinic. Not the promise of spiritual acceleration in far-away places. But a place where you are invited to be, to breathe, to sleep, to feel, and to slowly return to yourself.

This inn is created for people in transition: those moving through grief or loss, recovering from illness or burnout, completing a PhD or a book, or simply sensing that life is asking for silence.

There is space for yoga, a sauna, nature, the beach is close-by – and, if you wish, you can ask for mentoring and guidance. Everything is an invitation; nothing is required.

Ama · Alma · Tierra means: love, soul, and earth.
